מַעֲרֶכֶת פּוֹלִיטִית שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם
Political Systems of the World
בָּעוֹלָם יֵשׁ מַעֲרָכוֹת פּוֹלִיטִיּוֹת שׁוֹנוֹת.
In the world there are different political systems.
יֵשׁ מְדִינוֹת שֶׁבָּהֶן מֶלֶךְ אוֹ מַלְכָּה.
There are countries where there is a king or a queen.
הַמֶּלֶךְ הוּא רֹאשׁ הַמְּדִינָה.
The king is the head of the state.
יֵשׁ מְדִינוֹת אַחֵרוֹת שֶׁבָּהֶן יֵשׁ נָשִׂיא אוֹ רָאשׁ מֶמְשָׁלָה.
There are other countries where there is a president or a prime minister.
הֵם מַנְהִיגִים אֶת הָעָם.
They lead the people.
בְּכָל מְדִינָה הָעָם בּוֹחֵר מַנְהִיגִים בְּבְחִירוֹת.
In every country, the people choose leaders in elections.
הַבְּחִירוֹת חֲשׁוּבוֹת כִּי הֵן נוֹתְנוֹת לָעָם קוֹל וְכֹחַ.
The elections are important because they give the people a voice and power.
בְּחֵלֶק מֵהַמְּדִינוֹת הָעָם יָכוֹל לְדַבֵּר בְּחֹפֶשׁ, וּבְחֵלֶק אַחֵר לֹא.
In some countries, the people can speak freely, and in others, not.
כָּל מְדִינָה בּוֹחֶרֶת דֶּרֶךְ שֶׁלָּהּ.
Every country chooses its own way.
